Fiesta Game Scenario

The universe was first born in a sea of darkness and chaos. This primal force called itself Legel,
and was both creation and destruction. Legel's ever churning forces gave birth to a myriad amount
of worlds and creatures both great and small.
The creations were just as quickly snuffed out by the very force that made them. But, like any sea there are areas of temporary calm. It was in one such peaceful location that the Goddess Teva and the world of Isya were born.
Like many before her Teva was a being of tremendous power. She reveled in the power she had been given by Legel, however temporary it might be. She was fully prepared to accept the inevitability of her own destruction at the hands of the very thing that created her.

However before this could happen, Teva looked down upon the world that had been born at the same time as she, and saw the variety of life that had been created upon its surface. She saw many brutal and vile creatures upon this world, but also saw something else.
She saw animals giving their lives to protect their young, mothers nurturing their babies and children playing with their siblings. There were two species in particular that caught her eye. These species called themselves humans, and elves. What was truly remarkable about them is that they continued to struggle even against all odds, even when most animals would have surrendered. They were frail compared to many of the other species on this planet. By all rights they should not have been able to survive. But Teva began too saw some of their virtues. She saw their kindness, their self sacrifice, but most of all, something else she couldn't understand. Something that kept them holding on, no matter how bad things got. Something that made them fight on for something better, even though there was no reason to believe that 'something' even existed. 'Hope' these creatures called it.

What was this 'hope' these creatures held onto so desperately. How could this intangible feeling give them such strength. How could something so vague drive these beings to persevere against all odds. Teva wanted to know more, NEEDED to know more. But, Legel had other plans it seemed.

Teva saw the bubble of calm that had kept both her and this strange world in existence begin to collapse. Legel had come to reclaim what it had made, as it had done for untold eons before. Teva found she couldn't let this happen, not this time, not until she understood this 'hope'. Teva used the power granted her to attempt to hold back the forces that threatened to destroy them. But it was like a child trying to push a tree over. Teva felt herself becoming consumed once again into the whole that was her father. She felt desperation, fear, and uncertainty grip her heart. Teva knew she couldn't possibly resist the awesome power of Legel.
Teva decided to take one last look at the world that was born with her and the strange species that possessed a strength she seemed to lack. Teva saw the people of the world looking up to her, seeing what she was attempting to save them all. Once again this species managed to astound her. Teva noticed for the first time that they felt the same fear that gripped her now. It was a feeling of uncertainty. Was it always there? Did she somehow miss it? Or was it, just now that she felt it for the first time, that now she was able to see it within others.
But, despite all that, they held onto that 'hope'. She saw they wouldn't give up even with this awesome power of the universe threatening to crash down upon them. They 'hoped' for something to save them. They somehow could make it through one more day. Teva realized something else.
They were looking to her to be that something, that light to give them a reason to look forward to a better day.

For the first time in Teva's existence she now grasped what 'hope' was, what it meant, why it gave this species such strength. Why they never gave up.
With a new found light within her, Teva pushed back against the darkness around her. She felt Legel lose ground ever so slightly. But, that was enough. That small give filled Teva with greater strength. She pushed harder, and every time Teva felt Legel back away she felt her strength grow.
Legel couldn't believe what was happening. Something he created, which should stand no chance against his awesome might was not only resisting him, but was winning. Legal knew he was in a losing battle so he began to fragment himself. Breaking off pieces of him to create beings like Teva, these beings became the gods.

Markis was the first god born of this fragmenting; Legal imbued him with his powers of destruction. Pagel was made next; Legal gifted him with his greed. The goddess Apoline was given the power of desire. Next was Anis who was gifted with Legel's strength. Bijou was born and given Legel's power of creation. Last to be created was Nik. Legel imbued him with his powers of Darkness. As each god was born he gave them a desire to reunite with him, to once again make him whole. Legel kept his greatest power for himself however, the power of Chaos.
Teva saw this happening but could do nothing to stop it. She was completely focused upon her battle with Legel. Legel became extremely weak in the fragmentation process. He was so weak in fact that with a final mammoth effort Teva managed to seal Legel and the power of Chaos away. She placed the now sealed God deep within the world of Isya. It seemed fitting to her that Legel be imprisoned upon the very world which helped Teva defeat him.
Teva chose to introduce herself to the people of the world she had just saved. They thanked and praised her and gave her the title of the Goddess of Hope. But, this was not to be the end of the story, nor the last to be heard of the Primal Chaos of the universe.
