Interface and Controls

Movement and Interface:

  1. Interface
    1. Character Status
      • Monster Kill Points
      • Acquire Bonus EXP for every 20th monster kill of the same level as your character.

      • Hit List
        A log containing up to 50 of the characters you’ve encountered via PK which includes the resulting outcomes and cooldown for revenge system
      • EXP Bar
        The Exp bar behind the characters name fills up to 10% exp according to level. Each time a bar is filled one of the circular indicators around the portrait lights up. When all the indicators are green you gain a level.
      • HP/MP Bar
        Displays how much HP and MP your character has.
    2. Target WindowDisplays info on the selected target including the targets HP, MP, Name and Level.
    3. Mini-Map
      • Mini-Map Displays the characters current location and the surrounding area. Zoom can be toggled via the “+” and “-”keys.
      • MapDisplays the overall world map. You may zoom into a particular section by clicking on it. Double Clicking allows you to leave a note about chosen location.
      • Safe Zone IndicatorIndicates Safe Zones via Flag Icon, and Battle Zones via Cross swords icon.
    4. Interface Hotkeys
      • Chat WindowWindow displaying ongoing chat discussions. Chat filter buttons can be located below the Message section. Chat can be filtered via party, guild, general, 1:1, etc.
      • Character information
        1. Displays Characters currently equipment
        2. Displays Characters Elemental Defenses
        3. Displays and allows for adjusting of characters diff. attributes..
          • Strength – Affects Melee Attack Dmg and Weight
          • Vitality – Affects HP and Physical Defense
          • Intelligence – Affects Magical Attack Dmg, Magic Defense and Resistance
          • Dexterity – Affects Ranged Atttack Dmg and Accuracy
          • Psyche - Affects Magic Resistance and MP
          • Agility – Affects Evasion
          • Weight – Indicates current weight and maximum weight capacity,
      • Inventory
        Displays the items character is currently carrying. By default characters have a 30 Slot Bag given to them. Inventory space may be increased by equipping additional bags.
        Once a character has reached the maximum weight capacity; she may no longer carry additional items regardless if there is free bag space.
      • Skill/Spell
        Displays the characters skill tree including the current learned skills and their effects. Also displays the other acquirable skills and their effects as well as the effects of higher levels of an existing skill.
      • Quest
        Displays the various quest details available to the character.
      • Action Bar
        Toggles the Action Bar hotkeys (1-6) where you can place commands, emoticons, items and skills for quick use. You can scroll through the multiple action bars via Insert and Delete keys.
      • Party
        Displays party window allowing you to view up to 6 of your party members as well as information regarding them such as Name, HP, MP, etc. You may also use this window to distribute Item loots. You may also kick members out of the party via this window.
      • Guild/Legion Window
        Displays information regarding the players guild. This window can be used for all guild functions such as acquiring guild skills; adjusting ranks; guild invitations; removing members; etc.
      • Basic Movements and Emoticons
        Contains the diff. basic movements and emoticons that your character may perform. You may click each of the diff. movement/emoticons here or move the icons unto the hotkey bar.
      • Find Friends
        Displays your current friends list along with your block/ignore list. This includes a search function which allows you to search for a desire character to add into your list Characters will only be added to your list once they have approved your request to add them. This will display the players name, level, class, region, and log-in status can be viewed. Up to 100 friends may be added to the list.
      • Options
        Allows you to adjust various game settings such as graphics, audio, and SFX.
      • Character Selection
        Brings you back to the character selection screen.
      • Game Exit
        Allows you to exit the Rohan Online client.
    5. Action Bar
      Displays and stores hotkeys which allow you to store movement, emoticons, skills, and items for quick and easy activation. You may toggle through the multiple Action bars via the Insert and Delete Key.

    LEFT CLICK Select Target, Movement, Use Hotkey Icons, & Menu
    DOUBLE LEFT CLICK Attack Target, Follow Player
    CTRL+LEFT CLICK Attack Player
    LEFT CLICK+RIGHT CLICK Auto Run (forward)
    MOUSE CLICK (scroll) Zoom-in/Zoom-out
    RIGHT CLICK Change direction (Rotate Camera when moving)
    • Key Remapping

    For the convenience of players; Rohan online allows you to remap several of the keys to your pecifications.

    Simply click on the Blue “?” found above the Menu button located at the lower left corner of your game screen.

    Here you can remap and reassign keys with the exception of the W, S, A, D, Q, and E.
